Information About Thomas
Ottawa tutorPersonal Description:
I am currently studying computer programming at Algonquin College. I'm very easy to get along with and I've been told that I'm a great teacher. I took an introduction to programming class when I was attending Carleton University, where I built upon my python skills. I've been programming since I was 12, and my first language was python. In college I've learned java, html, css, php, and javaScript.
Tutoring Experience:
I participated in a peer tutoring class in my final year of high school. This involved marking tests and assignments, as well as helping students with any questions they had. As the final assignment, I had to teach a lesson to a class of 30. I've also help friends with small problems they've had with programming.
Tutoring Approach:
I do very little for the student. All code will be written by the student. I tend to teach using lots of examples that build on each other.
