I am a veteran IT Professional of 24+ years, providing services as a CompTIA-IT Tutor specializing in helping individuals from ages 18 years of age and up, to prepare for taking their IT certification exam for any of certifications listed below:

I also specialize in helping a wide range of students who are not only pursuing their IT certifications, yet who also have learning and neurological differences they may feel might impede upon their chance of success in passing their certification exams.

I do not believe this to be so!

For some of my students who have Asperger's, ADHD, Bipolar, or Anxiety conditions, I believe in being highly proactive, adaptive and very supportive to empower them the necessary tools both for life skills and IT skill sets.

It is absolutely priceless to me, whenever I can share my time-honored IT knowledge and expertise with all my students. I also tell each and every student when they first start with me, the same truth every time:
"If you don't succeed, I don't succeed and to me… that's just unacceptable."

So I am committed to your success from start to finish.

As a cross-platform tech (Mac and Windows), I also work as an independent Professional IT Contractor, working on various Windows-based and Networking contracts for over 50 different companies, from large firms to big-box retail stores and restaurants.

Finally, I believe learning should be fun as well as intuitive and empowering to all who seek to expand their overall IT knowledge.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is more of a holistic, empathetic, focused and foundational learning method that I apply with each and every student I tutor.
This approach places complete emphasis and focus, on the cognitive abilities of each student, therefore allowing them to learn according to their own unique way of learning, using the VAK (Aural, Visual or Kinesthetic) method.

Tutoring my students in this manner has many benefits: It allows them to effectively receive, digest, and absorb the knowledge they receive when tutoring with me, in their way, their pace and level of comprehension for one. Additionally, they can do so without the pressure of being forced to learn in a way that does not compliment their sensory approach to acquiring new knowledge.

The benefit for me as their IT tutor, is I have the opportunity to adapt to each student based on his or her learning style, help them develop their dormant skills in IT while increasing their awareness of their abilities, improve their
skill sets and literally watch them evolve as an individual into the IT Professional they desire to be.
