Personal Description:

My name is Teresa. I recently relocated to rural Alberta and am keen to work as an online tutor. For the past five years, I have been working as a research manager at the University of Alberta. I work now as an online tutor, providing services mainly via e-mail, chats, or **Contact Detail Removed**phone. My most popular service is editing and feedback of essays/papers, however, I am qualified to assist on a variety of subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

During my time at the University of Alberta, I taught lectures to undergraduate students, graded essays and exams, as well as provided one-on-one support in research and writing.

Prior to that, I ran my own research consulting company, where the bulk of my clients required English tutoring, editing and writing services.

I have also worked for three years as a reading, writing and mathematics tutor for Edmonton Public School board, providing one-on-one support to developmentally delayed students in the first to third grade.

Tutoring Approach:

I firmly believe that every student is different. I like to provide examples and thorough feedback on independent attempts on the work. I strive to understand my student's personality and thought processes, so that together we can achieve their goals in a stress-free manner.
