Personal Description:

I feel that it is my duty to share knowledge with those who want or need it. As a lifelong learner, I believe students learn best when they are comfortable and engaged in the work. I can help students as they work through homework, tackle assignments, and more. We can work together to build a great foundation for math and other subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

I began tutoring while in high school. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies with a concentration in Community Organizing, which I created myself. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies. I have an MBA in Sustainable Business and Natural Resource Management and also taught English for a year to middle school students in South Korea.

Tutoring Approach:

I strive to make math tutoring as fun as possible. I kick things off by getting to know students, which can help set everyone at ease and reduce any study-related anxiety. Through ongoing positive reinforcement and independent work, I believe any student can gain a strong understanding of the material.
