Personal Description:
Hello there! I'm a primary/junior French Immersion teacher in Ontario, Canada. I've taught most grades from kindergarten up and also spent some time teaching French as a First Language in Europe. I live in a beautiful area of forests, lakes and hills yet have fantastic access to high speed internet. I love helping those who want to learn and am quite strong at building relationships, quickly. I am able to put students at ease, so that they are able to trust me, take risks and progress quickly!
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching French Immersion students for 20 years, and have tutored privately during this time, as well in both English and French.
Tutoring Approach:
It's important to build a relationship in order promote a sense of trust and ensure a non-threatening environment. A rapport is essential. I believe that it's important to base sessions on several components so that the student remains engaged and interested. It's also essential to know your student in order to maximize progress. My goal is to make sure that kids love learning!
