Personal Description:

I can help students make the most of their educational opportunities with personalized instruction. I constantly examine and update my practices as an English tutor in order to provide the best possible instruction. I am organized and results-oriented. I love learning, and want to encourage students to enjoy learning throughout their lives. I can focus on the most relevant material for a student while moving at a pace that suits them.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in History and Elementary Education. I have more than six years of experience as an elementary school teacher, as well as experience substitute teaching and tutoring for middle and high school students.

Tutoring Approach:

As an English tutor, I believe that active, hands-on learning is essential. Different students learn at different paces, so I allow the student to determine how quickly we move through the content. I also allow the student's interests to guide our sessions.
