Personal Description:

I have many years of specific training that will allow me to adapt to any student's specific educational needs. I pride myself on a warm and open style that takes the pain out of education, helping students realize that they can achieve great things if they put forth the effort. I also establish a trusting relationship with each pupil to better understand their needs.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over ten years of practical teaching experience in the public school system. I am also the official English and SAT prep teacher at my high school. I have two master's degrees (English Education and Information Sciences) that help me utilize best practices as an English tutor and deepen my student's understanding of the material.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to assess student growth through informal conversations as opposed to asking them to regurgitate the material back at me because it gives me a better idea of what they have truly learned.
