Personal Description:

I'm currently attending college as an economics major, but I'm also part of the premed program. I have a wide range of academic skills and interests. I find it rewarding to step up to the challenge of helping others learn and find academic success. I am confident I can take some of the apprehension away for students facing difficult subject matter while helping them build their learning skills.

Tutoring Experience:

I have four years of tutoring experience, but I've always loved teaching and learning new things. I started tutoring younger students as a freshman in high school, but I've worked my way up to being a chemistry tutor at the high school level while also assisting with test prep.

Tutoring Approach:

I feel that knowledge and learning are gifts, and so it's my responsibility as a student to work to both attain knowledge and share what I know with others. I want to get to know my students and where they stand so I can pick them up from there and slowly build their skills through practice without throwing too much at them. It's best to keep things simple and straightforward.
