Personal Description:

While I primarily offer math tutoring, I can provide support in a few other subject areas. I can help students build solid study and organization skills, which can benefit them throughout their academic careers. I can lead students through engaging sessions on early pre-algebra concepts, fill in learning gaps, and answer questions about homework as well.

Tutoring Experience:

I received my bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development. I am currently working with an educational non-profit that provides support to students who need it. While working with this organization, I have gained valuable tutoring skills in teaching students in groups and 1-on-1.

Tutoring Approach:

As a math tutor, I understand that it's important to tailor my instructional approach to suit the student's style. Our first session together is an introductory one, allowing us to build a rapport, identify goals, and build an academic plan that focuses on supporting them as they need it.
