Tutoring Approach:
I believe that personalized program is the best way to achieve maximum efficiency while tutoring. I believe that each student is unique in their learning abilities and learning trajectories, so personalizing course instruction to realize the maximum potential is imperative. To maximize learning outcomes, I design my classes and syllabus based on various attributes of teaching such as difficulty, repetition, salience and timing tailored to an individual. For example, individuals react to difficulty of concepts in different ways. Some individuals like to be challenged constantly while others require smaller, easier blocks of learning with many positive reinforcements. I try to find the sweet-spot for each individual where they are challenged and innately curious to actively be part of the learning process.
