Personal Description:
I am able to address the needs of a variety of students. As a physics tutor, I can help both high school and college students feel empowered to learn even the most challenging material. I teach adaptive sessions as a physics tutor, and I can focus on the most relevant material for a student. Whether a student needs help with foundational concepts or advanced material, I can provide effective, results-based academic support.
Tutoring Experience:
I have a bachelor's degree in Physics. I also earned a Ph.D. in Modern Physics and a Ph.D. Experimental High Energy Particle Physics. I have taught math and physics for over 20 years.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to target sessions to address a student's most important needs. I also truly enjoy working to increase a student's confidence by making sure that they understand the fundamental of an idea. I help students see how these fundamental ideas apply to different situations.
