Personal Description:

My name is Stephen and I have a passion for helping young students reach for their academic potential. I began tutoring as an eighth-grader by teaching CCD to a group of first-graders and loved every second of it. I have since tutored a variety of subjects, including seventh-grade literature, eighth-grade English, essay editing, and a Freshman Seminar course designed to prepare students for the academic rigors of high school. If you choose me as your student's English tutor, I can promise unmatched dedication.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutored twice a week at a local community learning center. I have also worked at an under-resourced 6-12 school where I earned a reputation as the tutor who was always willing to help. I hope tutoring gives me a chance to help others succeed.

Tutoring Approach:

Students in middle and high school experience a lot of social and biological changes, and I believe that I have a special knack for helping them confront fresh challenges.
