Personal Description:

I began my career as a specialist in middle school intensive reading but have since branched out to all ELA subjects through the upper-secondary level. I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds in the past and am comfortable around nearly anyone. I am an avid reader in my spare time, and I'm excited about sharing that passion with as many students as possible!

Tutoring Experience:

I currently teach fifth-graders virtually, covering all major academic subjects including intensive support. I have also tutored a variety of different subjects and run several extracurricular activities. I graduated with a BA in English Education and then earned a Master's in Educational Leadership.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the first job of an English tutor is to establish a personal connection with their pupil. If I let my student's interests drive the way that I present concepts, they will be more interested and willing to engage in the material.
