Personal Description:

I'm from Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I love travelling and meeting people from other countries. I enjoy hiking, reading, singing and watching movies in my spare time. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and French. I like to be creative with my lessons and tailor the content to fit my student's needs, interest and abilities.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 7 years of experience as a teacher and tutor. I have worked with all ages and abilities. I spent a year in Tokyo teaching ESL both in person and online.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to find out the student's goals, interest and abilities and created lessons to fit the student. I am able to empathize with the student as I have also learned a second and third language. I like to incorporate games and vary the lesson types to keep the student interested. One day will be a grammar-based lesson and the next one will be a role play.
