Personal Description:

I am a friendly, patient and approachable teacher of English (including ESL), Math, History and Social Sciences. I have a Master's degree in Finance and over 20 years experience in corporate finance and accounting roles. I am a Delta, BC resident for 10 years and my family includes my wife & two teenage daughters.

Tutoring Experience:

Over the past 8 years, I have been coaching my two daughters English, Math and History to help them through high school and the initial years in university. Prior to that, during my 2 years of graduate school (my Masters'), I tutored a number of undergrads in English, Statistics and Accounting.

Tutoring Approach:

I provide a fun and enjoyable atmosphere to learn, that's both engaging and supportive of the student's needs. I adapt my tutoring style to the level of understanding of the student. I am available to tutor students at either their home, my home or the local library.
