Personal Description:

I can help students make the most of the educational opportunities in one-on-one sessions. As a study skills and essay writing tutor, I can help students articulate their ideas clearly and use their time effectively. I want to work as a study skills and essay writing tutor because I love watching students improve their abilities. I can help students develop effective strategies and techniques for the demands of a class, exam, or their whole academic life.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Human Communication, and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Human Communication. I also work as an instructor for undergraduate classes. I worked as a writer and copy editor for my college newspaper. I also scored well enough on the GRE to earn a full scholarship to pursue my Ph.D.

Tutoring Approach:

I want to help students develop their own ideas and ask questions. I guide students in developing strategies that they can use in a number of future academic contexts.
