Personal Description:

I am a Psychology student at the University of Guelph-Humber. I really enjoy working with young children, and also make sure that they have a good time with me as well. I was born in India, so understand the trouble young children first have when they move to a new country. The first few years in a country are very hard for young children and any negative impacts could affect them in the future. I would really like to make their experiences positive.

Tutoring Experience:

My favourite subjects in school have always been ESL and Math. My marks have always been very good in Math. I have tutored young children Math with my tutor, and have also taught children Punjabi.

Tutoring Approach:

I really enjoy tutoring. I think everyone has a different style of learning and using that style to tutor them really benefits the child. Many times, one comes across a specific concept they may find difficult, I think it is usually the method of teaching and/or explaining the concept that make it seem difficult when it actually isn't.
