Personal Description:
I am currently doing PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Western Ontario. I am a friendly person, passionate about teaching with more than 5 years of teaching experience. I was nominated by students for Graduate Student Teaching Award for two times. I completed the Advanced Teaching Program in Western University and received Western Certificate in University Teaching and Learning. I have a flexible schedule.
Tutoring Experience:
Worked as a teaching assistant for more than 10 courses in University of Western Ontario. My duties include conducting lecture, mentoring students in Capstone projects, preparing quizzes, assignments, mid term and final term examinations.
Worked as a part time faculty for ECE 4464- a fourth year Electrical Engineering Course during professor's absence. Taught 80% of course, and conducted labs, quizzes and examination.
Tutored for 5 students during last two days.
Tutoring Approach:
According to me, a teacher is someone who should show the path to seek knowledge. He shouldn’t restrict himself to just teaching, but be a motivator, who encourages students to try things themselves and ask questions. I always try to develop a good teacher student relationship by developing inclusive and positive environment to the students. I always try to involve the students in lecture, such that while learning a concept in class, they should try and learn the practical application of it.
