Personal Description:

I have been a teacher for the past 25 years. I live education as a career and one of my favorite things is to help students succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught English and math for most ofthe past 20 years. I have helped several students with proofing and fine tuning essays during their Master's degrees. I have spent most of my career teaching at the grade 6, 7, and 8 levels.
My own degrees included majors in English and Psychology as well as minors in Classics, Math, and Science. I completed a Master's level specialty in Resource and in School Administration.

Tutoring Approach:

I am flexible in my approach and was fortunate to have extensive experience in meeting the needs of learners using a variety of strategies. Online learning presents some restrictions in terms of movement and use of manipulatives but does allow for interaction and direct teaching.
