With over 6 years of ESL teaching experience, including 3 years working abroad, I have extensive expertise teaching and tutoring students of all ages, levels and learning styles. In addition to this, I have experience teaching and tutoring in a variety of mediums (online, classroom, 1v1).

Tutoring Approach:

My approach depends on the student's individual needs and learning styles, however, it is my opinion that as students, we learn much more when we are given more control of the learning process – and so, I try to have students guide the lesson’s flow as much as possible. I take an “overall-communication” approach to English learning by focusing on the ability to understand and communicate ideas. It’s my belief that when we improve our overall English communications abilities, it is almost certain that we will improve individual English skills (grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary, etc).
