Personal Description:

My name is Shaera and I’m in my second year at University of Toronto completing my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, I completed my Honours Bachelors of Science in Biology at McMaster University, with a minor in Psychology. In my spare time I enjoy practicing mindfulness, reading, staying active, and cooking. I also love meeting others and enjoy teaching those who are eager to learn. I would love to meet with you and help as best as I can.

Tutoring Experience:

Previous experience tutoring Biology and Psychology in middle and high school levels, along with experience essay editing all the way from middle school to undergraduate studies.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to be mindful of the different learning styles and preferences my students have, along with being as engaging and collaborative as possible. I like to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience that is also relevant towards a student’s interests in order to enhance engagement and learning.
