Personal Description:

I am a licensed attorney but I've also been involved in educating others throughout my life. I've done everything from being a math tutor to helping people with test preparation, to tutoring elementary and high school students of all capabilities. I try to make sure that all of my tutoring sessions are engaging because students learn more if they are actively participating, instead of listening to a dry lecture.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated from law school, and have been tutoring for a long time, including volunteer tutoring for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. I believe that everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed, and I've always found the process of tutoring to be very rewarding.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring approach is to first learn more about my student, including their educational background, aspirations, and what they hope to accomplish through the tutoring experience. Then I can use this information as the foundation for our lessons. From there I like to focus on developing skills and understanding through repetition from the perspective that practice makes perfect.
