Personal Description:

Since graduating, my work experience has mainly been in the academic field. I am available as a German tutor to work with students of all ages from elementary school through adults. I can tutor students in all levels of German including Conversational German. I am flexible in my tutoring methods to match each learner's strengths.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in an individualized program entitled Arts, Cognition, and Evolution. I went on to earn my master's degree in Cognitive Linguistics. I was a Teaching Assistant as well. I have helped hundreds of students in various language and German courses.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that students learn best when they know that they can. Therefore, my goal is to help my students discover what they are able to do and then give them the best tools possible to reach their goals. I start with a new student by asking what they want to work on and what they find most difficult.
