Hi, my name is Sean! I am an experienced tutor specializing in Latin language and literature! I also teach English and specialize in accent improvement. I have a degree in Latin and Ancient Greek literature.

Tutoring Experience:

Extensive private tutoring experience in Latin and English.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in a pedagogical approach, with lots of opportunity for the student to make mistakes, learn from them and then self-correct as often as possible. Each student is different and my approach is customized for each learner. In English I believe that the student should have the greatest possible opportunity to speak and read, without being discouraged by constant correction. In Latin the approach is different based on the learner but usually involves writing exercises that are created for each student.
