Information About Sarah
Waterloo tutorPersonal Description:
Hi, I am Sarah and I am a University student majoring in both History and Political Science! Throughout High School, I was on the honour roll and grew a passion for teaching and editing. I enjoy writing, reading, and grading papers and would love to help others grow that passion or develop that passion in many different subjects! I have a love for learning and for travelling which has only grown over the years! I would love to help anyone of all ages who requires any academic assistance or would just like to further their knowledge on subjects they so choose. Please feel free to reach out to me as I look forward to meeting and helping you!
Tutoring Experience:
Unfortunately, as I am still a student at University I have not started teachers' college. But in High School, I did have the experience to help tutor students in Grade 9 in subjects like French, and English as well as students in other years when it came to editing and reviewing projects like presentations and essays.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring would be remote due to COVID-19. I would love to schedule meetings on platforms such as Zoom or Facetime/Skype (whichever feels most comfortable for the student). I am very flexible with my hours as of May 1st as I begin my summer break. I do work a job outside of school which usually consists of 3 shifts a week. But as I am a student, I am always on my phone and easy to reach or get a hold of! Teaching and learning do not only happen in the classroom which means I can answer on short notice or can even set up a meeting quickly whenever needed!
