Personal Description:

With over seven years of math teaching experience, I have developed a passion for helping students reach their full potential. As a math tutor, I feel rewarded when I guide my students towards greater confidence and passion in their math studies. I often try to increase engagement by relating academic subjects to a student's real-world experiences.

Tutoring Experience:

I have numerous years of experience teaching math and writing to special needs students. I also have experience teaching resource biology and other subjects to general education students as well. After earning my bachelor's degree, I went on to obtain my master's degree in 2015. I eventually obtained a 4.0 GPA while working on my master's degree. I currently tutor 6th-grade students on a number of subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

My philosophy is that all students are capable of success, no matter what. Part of my tutoring approach involves making sure that my students feel comfortable in a welcoming, non-judgmental learning environment.
