Personal Description:

I am a grade 6/7 middle school teacher in greater Vancouver, BC.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in 2017 from Simon Fraser University with a major in English and an extended minor in Philosophy, and in 2019 I graduated from the University of British Columbia with my Bachelor's of Education. I am a native English speaker, born and raised in Canada. I have a love for writing and use my creative writing energy when writing lyrics and music. I truly believe anyone can be a great writer!

Tutoring Approach:

As a middle school teacher, I know how important trust is between a student and pupil, and how each individual will learn a slightly different way. We will build your lesson plans around what works best for you! Whether that's focusing on writing time and answering questions along the way, looking at writing you've done outside of class, or having a lecture-style class where I share with you my knowledge and answer all your questions about specific writing genres! Either way, we will focus on perfecting your writing process, so you can have the confidence to write anything after our lessons are over!
