Personal Description:

I have great enthusiasm for pursuing knowledge and I am a lifelong learner. Since I care deeply about education, I am a dedicated chemistry tutor. Class sizes are sometimes too large for students to get the kind of individual attention they need, which is why I have chosen to be a chemistry tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

As a college student, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Genetics. I plan to attend veterinary school next. I was a Teaching Assistant during my time at university, helping with lab courses. I can help chemistry students in high school or college with general coursework, test prep, and writing scientific papers and lab reports.

Tutoring Approach:

I think it's important for the student to have a sense of fun about learning so they can more thoroughly engage with the material being taught. I like to break down larger chemistry ideas into bite-size chunks to help bring the ideas together for my student. When I first study with a new student, I get to know what their understanding of chemistry is so far and we go from there.
