Information About Sabrina
St. Albert tutorPersonal Description:
It all began when I moved to Switzerland in 2008. My Canadian university diploma wasn’t recognized, so I needed a Plan B - stat! I had always loved reading and writing, so I decided to share my love for the English language with others. As a bilingual speaker (EN/DE (High German and Swiss German) I quickly became specialized in teaching to German speakers. When I moved back to Canada in 2019, I knew I wanted to branch out and meet the needs of newcomers to Canada and bilingual Francophones, and anyone else wanting to take their English to the next level. Now I get to explore English with amazing people from all over the world, and I couldn’t be happier to be on this journey.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 14 years experience teaching English as a foreign language. For ten of those years, I lived and worked in Switzerland, and understand the intricacies of learning another language and the challenges of integrating into a new culture. I've worked with all types of clients, from primary school children to business executives.
Tutoring Approach:
My aim is to provide you a relaxed and engaging atmosphere so we can explore the English language together, and even have fun while we're at it. All of my lessons are individualized and I love using visual elements to make the more pesky parts, like grammar, more interesting. I also love writing and am happy to offer writing corrections and edits to help you strengthen your writing skills.
