Personal Description:

I've got a real love for education and teaching other people. For me, it is very gratifying to be able to draw upon my interpersonal skills and my knowledge of physics to help other people. I am a physics tutor and teach this subject at both the high school and college level.

Tutoring Experience:

I have my undergraduate degree and I studied mechanical engineering. In addition to tutoring physics, I also enjoy helping people prepare for the math and science parts of the ACT exam. I believe strongly in a foundational approach to tutoring, building a solid and complete knowledge base at a particular level for my student so that they can build upon that base.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring very methodical. For example, once I go over a concept that I teach a student, I like to have them do various problems that demonstrate their understanding of the concept. If one of my students is having trouble, then I like for them to go over their problems so that I can identify what the problem spots are and then address them.
