Personal Description:
My experience as a student has given me the insight to understand the challenges that come with math and science courses and has also equipped me with the ability to develop a method that can be applied to any problem. I have a strong math and science background which makes me well-suited to the work of a chemistry tutor.
Tutoring Experience:
I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree specializing in both Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I have experience working as a high school math and chemistry tutor and have also provided informal tutoring to college students in math and engineering. I can provide extra academic support to students for a wide range of chemistry topics and courses including AP Chemistry.
Tutoring Approach:
I focus on fostering a thorough understanding of the material because I think this is the key to academic success. I tend to rely on a problem-based approach to teaching.
