Personal Description:

I am a Univeristy student studying psychology, french and eductation on the path to becoming a teacher! I love working with children and currently tutor and teach swimming lessons. I also love to dance, read and do crafts in my down time.

Tutoring Experience:

French Peer Tutoring during high school
English & math tutoring for elemetary school age children
Work for tutoring company in GTA during the univeristy academic year.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in an understanding based approach to learning. Children should be able to understand and explain what they are doing, not just memorize copy out preformulated responses. I also believe in interest based & active learning which means I try and find ways to make the material interesting and engaging for the student.
