Personal Description:

My experience in working with a variety of students allowed me to build the skills I needed to approach information in a variety of ways. I enjoy experimenting with different teaching styles to find those that have the most positive impact on my pupil. I can offer support in many areas as a physics tutor, including linear motion and motion in two dimensions.

Tutoring Experience:

I spent 10 years as a secondary school teacher. During that time, I taught a variety of subjects, including remedial math, AP Physics, and basic physical science. I worked with gifted and at-risk students. I graduated with a double major in Math and Physics and an emphasis on engineering. I also have a master's in Education.

Tutoring Approach:

When I first work with a student, I like to dive right into the material. As we progress, we can identify learning gaps and find ways to fill them in. I encourage students to ask questions and review their answers to gain a deeper understanding.
