Personal Description:

Learning new languages is my passion, and I must say that I've become quite prolific. I taught myself French during my travels, have studied Spanish since grade 5, studied Arabic and Mandarin Chinese in school, and learned German from family members who speak it fluently. I'm currently studying Russian. My favorite part of learning new languages is that each one allows you to interact with a brand new set of people. I believe that I would be an effective French tutor because I have so much experience learning new languages that I know precisely what kinds of support students need.

Tutoring Experience:

While in college, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Tutoring Approach:

I subscribe to a philosophy of teaching, which places the primary responsibility for figuring things out on the student. To that end, I incorporate as many non academic resources as possible and design interactive study plans to help promote engagement.
