Tutoring Experience:

I was a volunteer in a to help kindergartens read for about a year. I would read to them and then brainstorm what they read in the book, I would come up with questions to help them understand more of the book. I would also set up a mind map to put their ideas in there. for example: what do you think the book is about by looking at the cover, and then I would break up the book into parts and ask what happened in the beginning middle and end. if the child doesn't know how to pronounce a word I will give them some ideas to help them pronounce the word correctly, help them with their punctuations, and more!

Tutoring Approach:

methods I use to help me is basically just out main points that read, if I don't understand a sentence, paragraph, or a page I will go back and re-read it slower than the first time. Brainstorming my ideas help me very much because when you want to look back on some main points that happened you have all your ideas organized and laid out neatly. when it comes to I also brainstorm and keep all my notes organized and clean.
