Personal Description:

I am a chemistry tutor who enjoys getting to know my students. I do this so that I can provide them with a personalized learning experience. I feel this is an important component to identify the best way to help them learn. I try to keep students motivated through the use of various teaching methods.

Tutoring Experience:

I achieved my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. My chemistry tutoring experience ranges all the way from basic high school classes through more complex college courses. My tutoring experience is not just in chemistry, I also have tutored high school students in both pre-algebra and algebra.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to being a chemistry tutor is to provide a comfortable learning environment for students. After determining what subject matter a student is both struggling with and confident in, I switch back and forth between them. This provides a series of small challenges and successes which encourages the student.
