Personal Description:
Hi! I am a candidate for a Masters in Biomedical Engineering. My background is in digital signal processing, image processing and machine learning. I use applied math and programming basics on a regular basis. I also have a background in chemistry from my bachelor's degree, and related internships.
I am currently living in my hometown for 2019-2020, and am offering tutoring services to anyone in highschool (that includes the IB program), or undergraduate studies in Science or Engineering.
Tutoring Experience:
I've privately taught Math for students in highschool who needed supplementary help. I've also been employed at Carleton University as a teaching assistant, where I helped students with introduction to programming and linear algebra in class sizes of 300+.
Tutoring Approach:
I usually recommend an hour for each subject. I like to first have the student explain to me what they're struggling with and would like to cover. And then we'll review relevant course concepts. Afterwards, we'll approach some practice problems together. And then finally, I'll have the student attempt a few questions on their own to see what they understand and need to work on.
If you have any special concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know!
