Personal Description:

I'm a patient, intelligent, math tutor who is good at building student's confidence. I believe it's important for students to learn not just the information necessary for one assignment or test, but the foundational material that will lead to greater academic confidence moving forward. I'm passionate about tutoring because I know it can help students perform at their highest possible academic level.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in religious studies. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in social work. My favorite subject to tutor is math.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to meet students where they are and form a plan of learning from there. I find this helps us cultivate a productive tutoring relationship that facilitates individualized learning tailored to each student's learning style. I take the time to explain concepts in a variety of ways, constantly assessing their understanding, until they are comfortable moving on.
