Personal Description:
I am an experienced bi-lingual (French/English) tutor with daytime, evening and weekend time slots available. Lessons can be virtual or in-person (local only) to suit your needs. I am a graduate of the Ontario French Immersion program and hold a degree in Radiation Physics from McMaster University.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching in a variety of settings for the past 15 years. I have taught individual and group lessons for adults, teens and children. My interest in teaching began with a part-time high school job as a dance instructor and evolved to include everything from working as a teaching assistant at McMaster University to developing patient education materials for hospital use. I have been offering private tutoring sessions for the past four years.
Tutoring Approach:
Your time is precious. I offer a personal and flexible lesson plan to ensure that you get the most value out of our time together. Lessons closely follow the Ontario Curriculum, where applicable. Lessons are interactive and tailored to match your skill level, goals and interests. Lessons can be held virtually, in your home, or a public location (eg. library).
