Personal Description:

I'm a fourth-year undergraduate student (soon to be a graduate student in Master of Engineering in Data Science, MEng) at the University of Victoria and am about to complete my degree in Software Engineering (BEng). I am extremely passionate about Software Development, Engineering, Data Science (Big Data Engineering) and Business Intelligence. These interests and endeavors have helped me gain skills in the areas of Math, Physics and Computer Science. My long-term goal is to earn a Ph.D. in my area of interest. In the process, I aim to improve my expertise in teaching and communication which are essential for the fulfillment of my goal. Moreover, I have always enjoyed teaching, whether it be through a last-minute explanation of a concept to a friend right before an examination (let's be honest - who didn't need this?) or a full-fledged Teaching Assistant position.

Tutoring Experience:

Have tutored various first, second, and third-year students in Computer Science (Basic Programming - CSC 110, 115, Data Structures and Algorithms - CSC 225, CSC 226, Software Engineering - SENG 265, Operating Systems - CSC 360, Databases - CSC 370, Calculus I, II and III- Math 100-109, 101, 202 and linear Algebra - Math 211) through HelpHub
I have helped students via volunteering through my Club at UVic (WECS) by holding midterm review sessions.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer face-to-face tutoring sessions at the students place of convenience
