Personal Description:

I am currently a Communications Electronics Engineering Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces. I did my studies at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Being an Electrical Engineer has required that I am strong in my high school math and science knowledge; you can count on my knowledge level in the aforementioned subject areas.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a tutor from late high school (around grade 11 onwards) and all the way through university before I got my job in the forces. I have experience with tutoring students who were failing their high school math classes and in the end did as well as I did in calculus courses and university math classes.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe making the subject as relatable to the student as much as possible. Finding analogies relevant to the student's life or something from the day-to-day has been useful to my students in the past. In particular, students tend to appreciate the analogies I have for math concepts; they end up liking the subject more.
