Personal Description:

Hi there! My name is Quiana and I am a second year Chemistry student. I’ve taken French immersion for 12 years and have mastered the immersion process. I also have a love for English. I graduated High School as an Ontario Scholar and I cannot wait to help and teach you!

Tutoring Experience:

I was a tutoring assistant when I was in elementary and I currently tutor High School level students in various sciences.

Tutoring Approach:

For my approach I like to see what the student is working on currently, what they are struggling in and then find a way to explain it to them in the best way they understand. Everyone learns differently. I also like to be there for my students, whether that is me being on call to help them with out of the blue questions or being an ear to hear their frustrations. I provide online materials to help them learn further. All in all I am patient with my students, everyone moves at their own risk pace.
