Personal Description:

I am a full-time professor in Civil Engineering and Construction Management programs at Durham College. My latest academic credential is Ph.D. in Civil engineering and I have been teaching, conducting scientific research, and practicing engineering for more than 15 years. I also practice engineering on part-time bases in addition to tutoring.

Tutoring Experience:

I have extensive experience tutoring students at secondary (high school) and post-secondary levels in various engineering disciplines including mechanical, architectural, civil, and structural engineering. I have experience providing tuition in the following subjects:

In my philosophy of teaching, the professor is a “facilitator”, A group leader who guides team members in their learning journey. We'll work together, learning from each other, and supporting one another's success.
Learners think and learn in different ways. I had the privilege to teach in three different countries and work with a diverse range of students over the years at the college and university level. I have successfully applied UDL (Universal Design for Learning) principles in teaching domestic and international students during my teaching carrier.
