Personal Description:

When students struggle in class, it can be disheartening. However, any student can overcome their obstacles when given the right guidance and support. I can help students from elementary to college. I can help younger students master phonics, as well as provide homework support throughout their coursework. If there's a test coming up, I can help them review concepts and learn testing strategies.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a bachelor's in Curriculum and Instruction. I have a lot of experience as an educator with a specialty in English tutoring. My multicultural background and understanding personality allow me to foster an easy-going rapport to set my students at ease as we study.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe the path to knowledge is to instill curiosity, rather than to simply have my students memorize facts and information. I emphasize the importance of self-discovery and encourage them to come to conclusions on their own. To help students build a deeper connection to English topics, I aim to find ways to connect the material to reality or games.
