Personal Description:

Hi i am 18 years old and curently pursuing my degree in psychology from Simon Fraser UnIversity. I have always been inclined towards children and thus planning to go for child psychology in my future. I am a confident, intelligent and easy to go with person. I am 100% sure that teaching with me is definitly not boring.

Tutoring Experience:

I have more than one year experience of teaching students till grade 7th. I used to teach students back in my home country, India. I have also taken voluntary steps in teaching and taught poor children. This is what i used to do after my school hours. Only thing that makes me happy and i feel blessed after doing is teaching children.

Tutoring Approach:

Teaching someone is a huge responsibility.My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves.I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. Moreover i have full confidence in my own self.
