Personal Description:
I enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring individuals who are interested in learning and improving themselves.
The main subjects I tutor are introductory science courses at the first-year university level: Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
All of the subjects that I tutor I have achieved around a 90th percentile or above in the corresponding course.
In terms of my academic background, I graduated from Health Sciences at McMaster University and completed a thesis in an exercise physiology laboratory. I successfully published my thesis work in a peer reviewed scientific journal (FASEBJ). Currently, I am a first-year medical student at the University of Ottawa.

Tutoring Approach:
My tutoring approach is individualized and flexible depending on the needs of the student. In general, I encourage students to think for themselves and work with them to develop confidence in their approach to problem solving. I also believe that by doing questions and understanding how to approach them thoroughly is fundamental to mastering key concepts.
