Information About Patrick
Peterborough tutorPersonal Description:
I am a local historian and museum volunteer, with a background in Classics and Roman archaeology. I currently have two writing projects underway, one of them involving the history of Peterborough and the other dealing with ice hockey in Russia.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught Latin at the University level, and been an instructor and supervisor on archaeological digs in Italy.
Tutoring Approach:
Patience and gentleness are my watchwords when it comes to either teaching or one-on-one tutoring! I am also a firm believer in the notion that students should learn the "why" of the subject matter under consideration, as well as the "who," "what," "where" etc. This is particularly important when learning languages; knowing why things mean what they do is vital!
