Personal Description:

Whether at an elementary, middle, or high school level, I am able to help a range of students with key math concepts. I enjoy being a math tutor because I love to learn and help others learn. Discovering ways to make subjects interesting and compelling for students is an exciting challenge for me. During sessions, I am able to address the needs of a particular student without having to accommodate the needs of other learners.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in History and French and I also have a master's degree in Behavioral Science. I have taught in public school, community college, and university contexts.

Tutoring Approach:

Using a student's context and interests is an important aspect of being an effective math tutor. Likewise, being able to improve a student's confidence while developing their academic skills is critical. Students do better when they believe they can do better, so I lead by example with a positive attitude.
