Personal Description:

I tailor my teaching methods to meet the needs of each individual. As an English tutor, I am patient and believe in hard work, dedication, and plenty of practice. I can tutor students of all ages, from elementary through college. I help students with everything from grammar and syntax to college essays and college English.

Tutoring Experience:

As an undergraduate, I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology. After that, I graduated with a master's degree in communicative sciences and disorders. I earned a 309 on the GRE, 150 on the GRE Quantitative, and a 155 on the GRE Verbal. While I mainly tutor in English, I can also help with SAT and GRE test prep.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that practice makes perfect, so I encourage my students to practice as much as possible so their minds stay engaged with the topic. In addition, I use positive reinforcement to keep my students engaged in the learning process.
