Personal Description:

I find a great deal of satisfaction in helping others recognize and nourish their individual talents. I understand I would not be where I am if it wasn't for someone doing the same for me and encouraging me to pursue my goals. I strive to do this for my students in my capacity as an economics tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in political science. I graduated Magna Laude and am a member of both the International Economics Honor Society and the National Political Science Honor Society. I have gone on to earn my K-8 teaching certification through a program where I worked as a 6th-grade social studies teacher. I continue to be an active member in my community, working with students as part of a volunteer opportunity.

Tutoring Approach:

Well-planned lessons are essential to teaching successfully. It's also vital to teach to each student's personal learning style in order to ensure each session is as effective as it can be.
